School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism - George Mason University

The School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism (SRHT) offers exciting, career-ready majors in dynamic fields such as athletic training, tourism and events management, health and physical education, kinesiology, sport management, and recreation management. SRHT features renowned faculty, cutting-edge research, six laboratories and centers, and a diverse student body of more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year. Each major requires one or more internship or clinical experiences, ensuring that students graduate not just with a transcript but with a resume that demonstrates their professional aptitude and skills.

Each supervisee is required to complete the following at the outset of each semester, and to submit these documents via Taskstream no later than one week after the beginning of the semester:

  1. Supervision contract, signed by Supervisor, Supervisee, and Site Personnel.
  2. Confidentiality Statement.
  3. Declaration of Professional Practice.
  4. Proof of liability insurance.

Every two weeks, the student is required to submit the following through Taskstream:

  1. Scans of all BACB Fieldwork and Practicum Experience Supervision Forms received from the Supervisor, signed by both Supervisor and Supervisee.
  2. Log of hours.
  3. Any other documents requested by the Supervisor.
