The School of Recreation, Health, and Tourism (SRHT) offers exciting, career-ready majors in dynamic fields such as athletic training, tourism and events management, health and physical education, kinesiology, sport management, and recreation management. Earth science is emerging in both public perception and active science research as a profoundly important field. Our lives and future depend on the depth of our understanding of our home planet. The National Science Education Standards underscore this transformation through a strong emphasis on "Earth Science" as a core domain of science education at all grade levels.

Licensure Course Work (17 credits plus 6 credit internship)

Course work meets licensure and master's degree requirements.

Recommended Sequence

Completion of MEd Degree (plus 12 credits)

An additional 12 credits are required for completion of the Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction degree and must be completed within six years of admission to the program.
