Social Justice Project Clearinghouse

Counseling students actively engage in community support and volunteer services under faculty supervision offering help in career/employment services, personal counseling, consultation, advocacy, research and outreach.

One of the major goals of George Mason University’s Counseling and Development Program is to form collaborative partnerships with local community agencies, schools, advocacy organizations, and other social service providers to address issues of marginalization and social and economic inequities that affect our local communities. To accomplish this goal, we have created a program where local agencies/organizations can receive various services from our graduate level counseling students—this program allows our students to actively engage in semester or year-long community support and volunteer services under faculty supervision. We offer various services including career/employment services, personal counseling, consultation, advocacy, research and outreach. If you are interested in receiving any of our services, please fill out the form below and it will be submitted to Dr. Regine Talleyrand. We will make every effort to accommodate your requests. We look forward to collaborating with you in the near future! Please contact Dr. Talleyrand if you have any questions.
