  • Hedberg, K. (2002). Using SQ3R Method with Fourth Grade ESOL Students. This was a teacher research project conducted at Deer Park ES by the ESOL teacher during the school year 2001-2002. The teacher used the SQ3R reading method with fourth grade ESOL students to help them better understand their textbook readings.
  • Rodriguez, P. (2004). What's Your Name? This was a teacher research project conducted at Deer Park School by a third grade teacher during the school year 2003-2004. The teacher wanted to know why many of her students from Korea change their names to American names when coming to America and in what ways she could help these students make the transition to American schools.
