Grading Policies

Students in a graduate program must maintain a 3.000 GPA (B average). Endorsement course work grades must be C or better for undergraduate courses and B or better for graduate courses. Grades of B or better are required for all graduate-level education course work for licensure. Only two grades of C will be allowed for completion of the master's degree

Transfer of Credit

Three credits, EDUC 522, may be transferred from Mason's Non-Degree Studies into the master's degree program. Up to 3 additional credits may be transferred either from another accredited institution or from Mason's Non-Degree Studies. All transfers must be advisor-approved. Credits cannot be more than 6 years old, must be graduate level, and must be graded (no pass/fail, audit, etc.)
