- EDCI 667: Advanced Methods of Teaching Social Sciences in the Secondary School (3 credit hours)
- EDCI 790: Internship in Education (1-6 credit hours) (Corequisite: EDRD619)
- EDRD 619: Literacy in Content Areas (3 credit hours) (Corequisite: EDCI790)
Completion of MEd Degree
An additional 12 credits are required for completion of the Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction degree and must be completed within six years of admission to the program.
- EDUC 671: Schools and Culture (3 credit hours)
- History and Social Studies content elective (3 credits) with adviser approval. Note: History/Social Studies endorsement requires EDUC671
- EDUC 674: Assessing Learning and Teaching in the Secondary School Classroom (3 credit hours) (Preq: EDUC 522 EDCI 500 EDUC 672 EDCI 600 )
