Multilingual/Multicultural Education

Program Description

The Multilingual/Multicultural Education (MME) program prepares professionals to work with a diverse population of individuals. Three master's level concentrations and one graduate certificate are offered within the MME program: (1) Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed. Concentration in English as a Second Language (CISL); (2) Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed. Concentration in Foreign Language (CIFL); (3) Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed. Concentration in Multilingual/Multicultural Education (CIMM); and (4) Graduate Certificate in English as a Second Language (ESL/ESOL)/Special Education (ELSE). The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction must be completed within 6 years of admission to the program.
