  • Can be taken as major field (21 credits) or minor (12).

    A. Core coursework in International Education and Social Justice

    • EDUC 895 Intro to International Education (required)
    • EDUC 873 Education Policy: Comparative and International Perspectives (required)
    • EDUC 892 Social Justice and Equity in International Education (required)
    • EDUC 894 Seminar in Multicultural Education (required)

    B. Area Studies - coursework that focuses on a particular region.

    C. Political Economy and Education Development - content that is oriented to the political and economic features of globalization and their effects on education and equity.
