Elementary Education PK-6

Professional Development Schools (PDS) Program

The PDS two semester internship program begins each fall and licensure and M.Ed are completed in six consecutive academic terms. During the first fall and spring terms students will participate in up to 30 clock hours of field experience and take two late-afternoon or evening courses. The summer term is compacted and requires field experiences and course work during the school day. During the following two terms, students must attend day-time classes and/or work in schools five days a week. The final summer term students must take one course to complete the program. At the completion of the 39 credit program, students will earn a licensure and M.Ed.
