Certificate - Early Childhood Special Education (Birth - Age 5) Leading to Licensure
This state-approved teacher licensure program offers the required course work for teacher licensure in early childhood special education.

Portfolio
A professional portfolio is required. The portfolio reflects the student's professional development throughout the program and contains examples of performance assessments associated with standards.
Field Experiences
Field experience may be required throughout the program: maximum of 30 hours per semester.
Internships
Two internships are required for teacher licensure. One preschool and one infant/toddler internship are typically required. On-the-job internships are also available. Application deadlines are February 15 for fall and summer placements; September 15 for spring placement.
