http://www.csulb.edu/~txie/ccol/content.htm - This website provides conversational Mandarin Chinese online. It developed by Dr. Tianwei Xie from Dept. of AAAS California State University, Long Beach. The biggest advantage of this website is that it provides Chinese sounds for students to practice at home. The two significant disadvantages are (1) the Chinese characters are not the simplified version, and (2) some exercises only illustrate Pinyin without displaying any Chinese characters.
